Cameron Turner is a veteran journalist, broadcaster and public speaker dedicated to uniting the human family and inspiring future generations by illuminating issues of importance to African-Americans and other people of color. Each week, Mr. Turner shares his insights over Los Angeles television on “The Filter with Fred Roggin,” a groundbreaking news program developed at KNBC Channel 4 by renowned sports anchor Fred Roggin. Mr. Turner’s thought-provoking column, “Turner’s Two Cents” is a popular feature in The Pasadena Journal (the leading African-American newspaper in Los Angeles’ San Gabriel Valley) and two leading web sites: UrbanThoughtCollective.com and the Electronic Urban Report (EURweb.com).
A native of Altadena, California, Turner graduated from John Muir High School in Pasadena, California and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Stanford University. He is an active volunteer at his children's schools and sings in the Men's Chorus at First AME Church Pasadena.
